Personality: N is someone who is wholly steadfast in his beliefs, though has become open-minded enough to see other's points within the last two years because of his new firm truth that the world works best when people differ in opinion and that new ideas can spring forth from discussions. This is something he learned on his travels with Reshiram, beginning with the Protag from Pokémon White (the previous game) opening his eyes and "wavering [his] heart" as he describes it.

Because of his childhood, N is definitely more comfortable around animal-like creatures (such as Pokémon) -- but humans decidedly aren't so bad either, and he's amicable towards those especially who have good hearts and open minds. But there are as many types of people as there are Pokémon -- some kind, some not so kind -- and he understands this now. It's not a bad thing. It's natural. So while he may not be the most open individual, everyone is to be given a chance to speak their mind as they know best -- because that's what will change the world, for better or for worse, and it's a necessity to allow that in a world so filled with possibilities, so flooded with hopes and dreams and aspirations.

Outside of these beliefs (which are such a large part of his being) he can be described as a rather eccentric young man who speaks too fast and thinks of things others wouldn't understand at a first glance, often trying to look at both sides of the story rather than just one or the other (now especially). He has a love of theorems, philosophy, and modes of transportation; though he dislikes those who won't listen, who hurt others without reason, and his "father" with whom he shares an unfortunate history with. N doesn't mind being alone and doesn't seem to understand "loneliness" as we think of it due to the fact he's always had Pokémon with whom he could speak to, but he's beginning to understand it as it relates to humans and wishes to be around them more to learn what he can, to expand his world further.

N is also particularly an ambitious young man, and because of his sheltered upbringing (being locked away in the same room for most of his life) he's rather impatient to boot! He's the kind of person who would rather go out and change something rather than ask someone to do it for him, though it's not like he'd ever use the phrase of "If you want something done right, you do it yourself;" it's merely because he's used to leading that he takes the first step forward, because if there will be no one else to champion a cause he feels strongly for then why wouldn't he lead it himself? That's just the kind of person he is.

Though that is not to say he would throw anyone under a bus or to the wolves for his own gain. No, N believes in working together towards the same end -- even if it requires one to face a different perspective, to reconsider their own values and judge what they must do in order to reach it. Those with a like mind often come together, so there isn't much point in working alone what you can do with others. N is rather practical in that mindset.

Lastly, but not least at all, N is a very empathetic individual. He strives to understand others no matter who or what they may be now, whereas before he was someone who wished others to understand him and to see his way of things as "right". It was only to a few outsiders with whom N would talk equally on the matter of philosophy with -- namely, the Protag who he saw as his counter, as the other Hero who would face against him to test their convictions -- and since then has learned that all voices wish to be heard just like his own. By listening to others and coming to see their points of view, by trying to understand their world and why they believe things the way they do, N believes he can expand his world beyond the horizons was once limited by and come to a new way to show others what he means, to reconcile his dream with his reality.

Abilities: N can talk to Pokémon. Not just in an empathizing way, but actually understanding their language. He can probably do this with Empatheias's creatures as well.

Alignment: Elios. He may not hate easily, but he has hated things before - namely the treatment of Pokémon by humans, though he was manipulated into believing that by Ghetsis, and I would probably stick disappointment under here too. N's very much someone who feels disappointed by others not reaching what he feels to be his low bar of expectations of a decent person. It makes him dislike them somewhat. That said, he loves rather easily, especially now once he's seen much of the world and wants to hear everyone's voices... it was love which drove him to do what he did each time, love for Pokémon and what he saw as an equal world, and now it's love that urges him forward for the betterment of it as well.

Other: He'll be entering with Reshiram, who he was battling aside at the time, and Zoroark, who is always at his side.
